Coastside Wishes
Coastside Wishes – Shintani facilitated a community project in her town of Half Moon Bay. She asked people of all ages and diversity to write their wishes on paper and these where hung from iron stars at the Coastal Art League Museum and at the Half Moon Bay Library. Viewers were invited to interact to hold and read the wishes and write their own to add to the installation. The project created dialog and a space for desires to be known from community members of all ages and backgrounds.
